[Evolution] 0.6: Could not start up component for ...

    Evolution won't start correctly on my system.  This problem started
happening with 0.5.1 and has been this way for probably the past month.
Tonight I compiled 0.6, removed my top-level evolution directory and all
the .gnome/evolution*.  Evolution started up the shell, displayed all
these warning messages, and then displayed just the shell and the
shortcut bar.  I tried clicking on the Inbox shortcut, and that produced
the last message below.
    What in the world is going on?  It appears as though OAF is screwed
up, because rebuilding evolution sure didn't make any difference.
    On a better note, it looks as though the
certain-font-crashes-evolution problems from 0.5.x have been cleared
up.  That's nice...but it sure would be nice if the components would
start up so I can start using this beast.
