Okay, first of all - you can't really move a message to a VFolder. You're
not understanding the fundamentals of VFolders...and it seems you are not
the only one so we should probably write a FAQ or something.

A VFolder is not a true physical folder, so moving a message to it won't
work. The reason your message is being removed when you Expunge is because
a "Move" action copies the message to the new location and marks the
message as deleted in the original folder. When you Expunge, all messages
marked as deleted are remove permanantly.

Anyways, I hope I explained that well enough ;-)

Also, the behavior that you got should probably be considered a bug...we
should probably have it so that if a user tries to move/copy a message to a
vfolder it'll pop up a warning or something and also not allow the user to
do it (and thus not marking the message as deleted).
