It's more of a feature than a bug at this point. (And that's what
"IMAP mail no longer arrives asynchronously" is referring to.)

The IMAP changes caused it to notice new mail more often, and so as a
result, given the way the mailer currently works, it would often end
up "stealing" the message list focus away from you to display new
messages. It was pretty unusable.

It should all be fixed in 0.7.
