Perhaps he means the rotating triangles, a-la MacOS, as opposed to
plus/minus signs and dotted lines.  Personally, I prefer the latter.

And, having really though about, the short cut bar is cool, but how
about making the folder list more like the Gnome Control Center tree? 

People keep saying this. What do you mean by that exactly? They seem
pretty similar to me.

Phew.  Now I feel much better for not being the only person to have no
idea what everyone is talking about here :)
