right, when I first mentioned the idea, I was thinking that that directory
just had configuration stuff, but then I remembered that it will also have
the users mail and plenty of other things
disreguard my suggestion of ~/.evolution

using ~/evolution will make this directory plenty visible for the
end user, and what is suppossed he will do with this directory
and the files inside ?
I vote for ~/.evolution, people who know what they are doing can
easily access it but prevent newbies to mock up this dir...
