[Evolution] It Compiles, now what

First of all, a great many thanks go to the many dedicated developers that
are working on this project.

My question is now that I have it compiled, what have I done wrong.  When
I launch evolution I get the main windows and the shortcut bar, but
nothing else, and I can go no where. Have I done something wrong, or is
that the state that this is in right now?
