type word (no spaces here) hit shift-control-v, it looks at word, zaps
it and type is the magic spiel corresponding to the word.
This would be trivial to do.
The other option is having something like Auto-correct or Emacs
Auto-Complete, that is active at all times, and detects sequences and
replaces them with the spiel without having to type any key combination.
