Is it just me or did many of you have lots of problems getting Evolution
working for the first time? Man oh man...
So JP, I tried the environment variables and it's still giving me the same
error about not being able to initiate an Evolution shell. What I don't
understand is that when I compiled Evolution I set the proper prefix and
sysconfdir. It should know where oaf and every other lib is shouldn't it?
Going back to one of your earlier messages you said:
Hmm...I think I've discovered my error but I have a question on
it...it's
looking for oaf in /usr/local/share when all of my oaf files are in
/usr/share.
Do I need to remake Evolution to fix or can I tweak a config file to
look in
the correct directory?
How did you come to this conclusion? Are you getting shared library
loading errors somewhere?
