I wondering if this is related to the poor behavior of evolution on a
2.4 kernel. It takes 10 seconds just to get a compose window up and
running while under 2.2 it only takes about 2.

maybe...i'm running red7/gnome/2.4.0-test11 and i'm having same issue as guy
that can only see executive summary settings item.........its the only thing
that works.......:)..but willing to use different kernel if its issue at
moment :)
