[Evolution] Re: /var/spool/mail

What are the odds that Evolution can use the mailbox in
/var/spool/mail/$USER without any pains? I like using elm and balsa,
and trying evolution, and would really prefer that Evolution use the
/var/spool/mail file to maintain compatibility with the other old
standards. I mean just cause Evolution is new doesn't mean it can't be
backward compatible, does it? :)
