The evolution-kolab team has just recently released version 3.4.0 of
evolution-kolab, please see [0]. This version is intended for use with
Evolution 3.4.0. Older versions of Evolution are not supported by
evolution-kolab 3.4.0.

Canonical has, unfortunately, decided to not include all of GNOME 3.4
in its upcoming LTS version, Ubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin". Specifically,
Evolution 3.4.0 will not be included, but version 3.2.x will be shipped
(it is much the same situation as it has been back in the days of
Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx", when they decided to ship Evolution 2.28 with
GNOME 2.30).

This means that we will need to resort to the efforts of the Ubuntu GNOME3
team [1] for some pre-built and packaged versions of Evolution and Evolution-
Data-Server 3.4.0, and, hopefully, also evolution-kolab 3.4.0. I have posted
a request on their mailing list [2], but so far have not gotten a reply. It may
well be that they wait for the RC2 of Ubuntu 12.04 before starting out and
packaging GNOME 3.4 components which will definitely not make it into
Ubuntu 12.04.

Thank you very much for your continued interest in evolution-kolab!

Kind regards,

	Christian
