Hi everyone! The evolution-kolab team is very pleased to announce the availability of version 3.4.0 of the evolution-kolab plugin for the Evolution PIM suite as part of GNOME 3.4.0 (see [0]). This is our first major release after moving from SourceForge to GNOME.org. Please check the new evolution-kolab project page [1] for further information and resources (user manual, troubleshooting, ...). For those of you who are eager to try evolution-kolab, the distribution tarball for the latest stable release is available from [2]. Please make sure to build against Evolution and Evolution-Data-Server as of version 3.4.0. Older versions of these are not supported by evolution-kolab 3.4.0. In case you have difficulties building evolution-kolab, please write to this list, we're here to help. Since it has been a major leap ahead from the old stable version 0.30.0 of evolution-kolab (for Evolution/E-D-S 2.30.3) to the new 3.4.0 release, we very much welcome your feedback on our plugin. If you find any bugs while testing evolution-kolab, we recommend checking with our bug tracker [3] whether the bug is already known. If it is not, please do not hesitate to file a bug report there. It will help us to further improve the overall quality of our product. If you have found a bug, please consider filing a bug report, the sooner the better. As per the GNOME release cycle, version 3.4.1 of GNOME (and, of course, evolution-kolab) is scheduled to be released on Apr 18 2012. We would like to include as many fixes as possible in this release. If you want to make sure the bug you reported will be fixed before the release of 3.4.1, it will be best to report it before Apr 08 2012.
