Would you like to continue the clarification for the topic
“Improve descriptions for software build dependencies”?
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/1198
Hi,
it's a Wiki page. Basically anyone can improve it. It's definitely not
improved by opening bug reports.
I hope to achieve agreements for possible changes in this area.
Do you try the software out also with extra test installations?
I do not know what you mean. Nonetheless, I guess I do. That page had
been created with the steps I use every single day, +/- every single
day. Thus yes, I do.
Do you use a command like “DESTDIR=Test cmake --install build_directory”
for this purpose?
Is the dialogue “Plugin Manager” available there?
Yes. Or, where there? In the sources? Yes, of course it is.
I am missing the entry “Plugin Manager” in the application menu
of my temporary software test installation at the moment.
Regards,
Markus
