I have now merged this into HEAD, I wanted to expidite the process so people would know what codebase they will be working on, although it may mean more work and different patches required for 2.0.x bugfixes. Hopefully it shouldn't impact the build fixes too much. I included McCann's typo fixes.
Now back to bugfixing :-/
