I know you folks have put a lot of hard work into all
of the components of Evolution, and I appreciate that
-- especially since it provides a viable alternative
to Outlook -- but I use my PDA for To Do and Calendar,
and use Evolution only for email (and contacts insofar
as that's required for email).
Before I spend too much time studying the code and
makefiles, is it feasible to separate the components
and make them compile-time options? Ideally, I'd like
to make each removable component a ./configure
feature. Is this totally hopeless, or fairly
straightforward? If it's feasible, any hints on where
to start?
Thanks,
Eric Ewanco
