There IS work underway to add NTLM support to OpenLDAP.  I know that at 
least the effort to integrate Samba/Heimdal/OpenLDAP includes NTLM 
support (this is to produce a psuedo-ActiveDirectory).

Since recent Cyrus SASL adds NTLM support, server side support is almost 
certainly available (it is listed as a support mechanism on my 
lab OpenLDAP DSA when I query the root DSE).  But I haven't tested it on 
the client side.
