It might make sense to allow the :1.5 OAFIIDs to continue working if
you bump the interface version. Making an incompatible change
evolution's command line interface at the very last minute is the kind
of thing that would be nice to avoid ...

The panel launches the calendar and tasks etc. using the command line:
$> evolution -c OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_Component:1.5
But the problem would go away if we had --calendar :-)
