Looks like you were bitten by #53370, I fixed it today.

There was another problem with the link at end of your message, which
was not saved as link but in underline + blue color style. This is
another bug which I supposed was fixed. Assuming that you have enough
recent evo (it was fixed few weeks ago) it's probably not fixed
completely. Now to only find the way to replicate ;-)

I am happy that you write HTML mails because not many people do so. I
would like to see more people dog-fooding HTML mode of the composer :)
