[Evolution-hackers] gtkhtml 3.0.9 v.s. gal2 CVS -rHEAD v.s. Evo*

Am I to understand correctly that libgal-2-0.so.2.0 should have
e_iconv_locale_language as a symbol right?

However, e_iconv_locale_language wasn't in gal until something after the
latest gal2 release (0.0.7?).  So therefore, gtkhtml links against a
function that's not available until then, and then Evolution links
against Gal?

Clarification?

Make sure its finding the right gal, but ... if its not in that version
(e.g. grep e_iconv_locale_language gal/gal/util/e-iconv.c fails), then
you need to find another version.

We (mail hackers) just use cvs, and don't know what packages are
available.
