Hmm, true, that makes things rather harder... why people can't just use
Page Down I'll never know :o)
Perhaps, then, the attachment widget shouldn't respond to Space to
activate it at all[1], but pressing Shift-F10 when it's focused should
post its menu... its current visual design doesn't really suggest that
functionality though, so it would probably need a bit of tweaking
somehow.

[1] We could have it respond to Enter instead I guess, but right now we
only document Space in the user guide as the "do it" key... it's just
that Enter also happens to work in most cases.
