Maybe I'm missing something but the conversation on b.g.o are no final
decisions and most of it explains about how long blink intervals has to
be and how icons should look like. I still belive that this kind of
feature would be interesting for Evolution. People that don't want to
use it could turn it off or something. I mean as the name implies
'Notification Area'. It does notify me when new mails appear in my
mailbox - nicely in a Tray. Otherwise it makes no sense to use a Tray at
all. It's exactly there for such things.
