[evince] Looking for ways to automatically fill out pdf forms

Hello,

I'm looking for ways to automatically fill out pdf forms.

Ideally, I would pass evince a list of field names and values and ask
it to produce a filled-out form, or print to a file to produce a
static pdf. I have some control over the forms being filled out, so I
should be able to fix things in the forms if necessary.

Is evince a reasonable tool for that?
