Hi, in the newest version. 3.14, if you call evince without any arguments, you will get a nice thumbnail list of the last opened documents, ordered by opened date. That means that the last document will be in the Top Left position, and you can quickly open it.

I am asking for a feature to restore the last opened file, as on firefox when you press cntrl+shift+T. I find often I want to open the last file I was looking at in a quick way.
