[evince] Evince doesn't remember settings

Hi,

I installed evince 3.10.0 from source just 1 day back. But evince doesn't seem to remember document settings. For example, if I invert the colors of a document, close it and open it, the inverted setting is not retained. Is this problem with my installation? Or Is it a problem with evince?
