Hello, Sudipto here I read the dualscreen notes+slide discussion on bugzilla. I was wondering where to start from, in the sense, should I read the code-attachments on bugzilla and try improving that or should I try finding a new method to do it altogether? In other words, could re-working on an older patch make a proper gsoc project or should i write from scratch?
Hi Sudipto, I think you are referring to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454731 It is up to you, I think. One way is to take in account the patch and improve it according the reviews and comments there. The patch as it is probably does not apply cleanly in the current tree, although it should not be hard to getting it "work" (work as in "to compile"). -- Germán Poo-Caamaño http://calcifer.org/
