This attached file was made by someone using Acrobat X, jPDF veresion 1.7. Using Evince version 0.6, the text is not visible. However with Evince 0.4 it renders fine. I thought you might want to take a look. 0.6 is what is current with RedHat 5.x and 0.4 is what is current with SLES 10.x. Evince 0.6 seems to render the text as white on white. If you hold the mouse button down and highlight text, or "select all" you can read it. Find will find text too, you just can't see what it found.
