Hello,
I have two monitors in a dual monitor setup.
One is vertical and the other is horizontal.
In the horizontal monitor, vertical scrolling is better.
In the vertical monitor, horizontal scrolling is better.
The vertical scrolling can be found in any viewer.
The horizontal scrolling I have found only in MartView.
The problem is that MartView only supports Windows and 32-bit platforms.
I know there are Wine and Virtual Boxes, but I guess it would be more
beautiful if this feature were implemented in Evince.
There is also an interesting feature in MartView, that is, it cuts
one page in the middle, if the page is horizontally too big.
Using imagemagick library could be interesting to achieve this.
Well, vertical scrolling is like an html table, with one row and
several lines. Where each cell is like a page. In horizontal
scrolling it is like an html table, with one line and
several rows.
I would gladly make tests with Evince if this feature (horizontal
scrolling) is implemented.
I guess this is it. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards,
Enio.
