Do you get PDF-Previews on remote shares?

Hi!

Im using 3 Computers and share their files with each other with
Nautilus' builtin feature "connect to server" with SSH.
Im doing this since a while now and it works great but i never get any
previews for my PDF-files when i browse in these remotely mounted
folders.
The Nautilus Preferences are set to "Always" and i do get previews for Pictures.
When i go to a new folder or rm $home/.thumbnails/fail/ it seems to
try to thumbnail each file but never shows any preview.

Does anyone have working PDF-Previews on remotely mounted filesystems?
