Hi Nickolay,
Yes we are creating the document from within our system,
but we have reproduced this issue using OpenOffice A4 and Legal
page size in portrait and landscape mode and Evince appears to default
to Letter regardless!
I appreciate your interest on our behalf. I'll add myself to the bug
