I've investigated the problem a bit - the reason is that it's hard to
determine page size from the document (it's defined by macros I suppose)
and from automatic guess of Letter size we take incorrect page size
value. 

If you are generating document yourself, it's better to explicitly point
it's size inside document or alternatively you can patch evince to take
A4 instead of Letter by default, but that's all will be dirty hacks.

I'll try to solve this problem more intelligently, but that will take
some time. Postscript support is in a bit strange state due to
complicated way we interoperate with ghostscript.
