smart bookmarks going away?

I just built Epiphany from master to try out some of the recent UI changes. Unfortunately my existing smart bookmarks didn't work. Was this an unintentional regression, or is the feature being intentionally removed? If it is, that would make me sad - I use my smart bookmarks many times every day.
