You could replace the cache directory with a symlink to your desired 
destination. For instance, on my system I have:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 sam sam 42 2009-05-24 00:24 .gnome2/epiphany/mozilla/epiphany/Cache -> ../../../../.cache/epiphany-mozilla-cache/
