Custom actions for custom URIs?

Hello.
I would like to ask a question.

Is it possible to associate a custom action to a specific URI?
For example... opening "irc:" or "ssh:" links with a custom
application that I can define, etc.

Also, it would be very nice to be able to create custom URIs. For
example... configure it in a way that when I write in the location bar
"v:gnome", it uses the smart bookmark "Google Video search" (v:) with
the keyword "gnome".

I really love the smart bookmarks but they aren't very comfortable to
use, because I have a lot of them and I have to browse the list each
time I want to use some of them.

I specially would like to thank you for the customizable interface
that epiphany has, the autohiden toolbar feature was such a nice idea!
