Desactivate tabs

I would like to install Epiphany for my father (newbie who already
runs Ubuntu Linux) because i found smart bookmarks more intuitive than
search boxes proposed in Firefox.

but i think that tabs are confusing and useless for him so i'd like to
have the possibility to desactivate tabs so links open in new
windows...
