First a question: how does firefox behave in this instance?
Doesn't ask, ie. acts as Epiphany 2.14 did.
There's a pref for this, "security.default_personal_cert" in
about:config. Try setting it to "Select Automatically" (without the
quotes); does that fix the problem?
Yes, it did! Firefox defaults to this, while Epiphany defaults to "Ask
Every Time" - I changed that, and got the performance I wanted.
Thanks!
The dialog might benefit from a "remember my selection" checkbox, or
at least a pointer to this setting seeing that the default does differ
from Firefox (1.5 -- I haven't installed 2.0 yet).
