If that's the same as pops up when new updates are available in Ubuntu
etc, then I'm all for it. Ugly they may be, but also very, very
convenient. =) That would be an appropriate level of alerting, IMO,
and that popup could provide the link to open the download window.
Though, in my case, maybe I would like it to simply "show desktop"?
