that lets you pick an image from the page when you bookmark a page.
Hard to explain, very easy to use- I'd suggest anyone interested in
experimenting with bookmarks might want to head over there, install
the bookmarklet, and play a bit. Images in bookmarks (or whatever you
end up calling them) might be interesting/useful.
There's already a bug about custom icons for bookmarks, so these two
issues could be combined... But come to think of it, if your idea is to
be able to associate mulitple images with one bookmark (i.e. a group of
jpg's downloaded from some GUADEC 2004 gallery) I think that would
require some support from f-spot/nautilus metadata etc.
Wouldn't it be nice, being able to find back the online gallery you
downloaded some pic from 1,5 year ago?
Luis (who still thinks we should figure out the social aspect of
bookmarking, and have a site where ephy users can collaboratively
bookmark a-la deli.cio.us/de.lirio.us)
The add bookmark/bookmark properties window is currently being
redesigned. Have you seen harves' mockups? Would you think an additional
combobox above or below the topic list, that would accept dnd'ed images
from the webpage or somewhere else, and defaulting to the favicon, is a
good idea?
