I've used Peter's patch for several releases, (I think starting with the first
debian package) and love it.

I've used epiphany exclusively since it was included in gnome, and I'm very
happy with it. I like the topic bookmark system, but its always felt
"under-used". I have a large bookmark collection, well sorted, most things
have multiple topics.

For example:
For work I have 6 bookmarks of "company sites", 12 bookmarks of "client
sites", 5 "vendor sites", of the "company sites" 2 are also in the topic
"development", "development" is a huge topic, with over 100 bookmarks.

So the "Work" topic has 23 sites, the "Client" bookmark has 12 bookmarks (each
are one of the 23 "Work" sites, etc.

being able to type "client" in the url bar and see a list of all client sites
is great.

What I've allways wanted was the ability to progressively limit the list based
on keywords (the above "Work" topic only has 23 bookmarks, but the
"Development" topic has over 100, which is where the current system doesn't
scale)

In an ideal world I could type "development work" into the url bar, since " "
isn't a legal url character, and I'd only get a list of the 2 sites that are
in both "Development" & "Work"

Peter's patch apply's that sort of feature to the bookmark menu system. It
makes the bookmark system much more powerful for large bookmark collections.

I'm pretty neutral on the "suggest topic" feature of the patch, I haven't
really found it useful, that doesn't mean its not, just that I don't use it.

I genuinely enjoy Peter's bookmark system and would appreciate it in epiphany.
It's a unique approach to bookmarks and fits well with epiphany's allready
unique system. I think it could use some polish, but it is a useful addition
in its current state. The only way it will really get wide testing is in the
mailine tree.

Please CC: me in replies, I'm not subscribed to the list.
