Yeah, I like the keywords concept over folders, I just the
implementation needs to be a little more obvious/intuitive.

Yep, I don't like it, and I haven't even shown it to anyone non
technical. If it pre-populated the keywords I'd be an awful lot happier.

Agreed - BUT if you have proper indexing and keyword searching on
bookmarked pages that problem almost goes away because people won't browse
their bookmarks they'll just search for relevant pages by keyword. I
still think we should keep it though.

Eye-catching can also be intrusive if you're not careful though, I quite
like the statusbar notification now you've suggested it!

That's my mean problem with it - it causes the train of thinking to be

Not really, there should be plenty of open-source indexing engines -
what ever happened to medusa, wasn't that supposed to be the GNOME
indexing engine? That might be worth a look ...

My guess is keywords, that was certainly the obvious choice to me [I
know I don't exactly qualify as a newbie - but I am new to this
system!].

Yes/No, Id really like to see some navigation that could be called up
and went away automatically when I selected a page to go to.

If you open a link from a new page, and the target page fails to load,
you might only notice after you've closed the original window and you're
left with a window containing the failed URL in the URL bar. At least in
mozilla [And I'm assuming epiphany - I'll confess I can't reproduce the
case right now] if you bookmark the page, you get about:blank bookmarked
rather than the real URL. If we can get rid of that problem I think
you're right - we don't need to add it.

I'd prefer "Open" as default - if we have 0 matching bookmarks then it's
insensitive, if we have > 1 and no URL is selected explicitly then we
open all?

Esc does nothing for me here, I have to mouse and close the bookmark
window with my window manager.
