I love this behaviour. And I do believe I'm more interested in the
particular window's content than I am at what the application is. I'd
love it if OpenOffice documents had individual icons, too.
Anyways, please consider that a web browser isn't necessarily an
application - it's a framework for running other (web-based)
applications. Some of those are just "stupid" text documents, but I for
one am constantly working with really complex applications that use a
browser as a way to present their user interface, so I really would
prefer the browser window to indicate its application context through
the icon.
