Creative Commons plugin (XMP)

Hi,

I'd like to write a plugin for EOG to add Creative Commons information
about the current image/photo. I'm the author of the Epiphany CC license
viewer plugin, so I'm planning this plugin to behave in the same way as
the Epiphany's one (using EXEMPI to find out the CC license).

Is it OK to take a plugin approach for this feature? Is there any sample
plugin to see the way plugins are written in EOG?
