I agree, doing a mass invite would be better imo.

And it would be great to incorporate GNOME SSO with the different Discourse boards (is that the correct term?). It will be one less password to have to remember :-)

The SSO module that comes with Discourse actually replaces the
functionality to use Discourse's login system, and thus the ability to
sign up with any other method. Fortunately, a plugin can be written to
support GNOME's SSO, and by the looks of things it's fairly trivial[0].
