The FreeBSD GNOME team is alive and well, mostly hanging out in
#freebsd-gnome on freenode.  There is a lot of focus on jhbuild right
now, but ports are also being regularly discussed there (and indeed,
there is already planning for taking advantage of some of this jhbuild
work in ports once the 3.12 release occurs).  If anyone wants to help,
please join.
