Forgot to say I also think this sentence should read "that continues to" rather than "which continues to",
but you might want to confirm with a proper grammar-head like Shaun :)
(My rule of thumb is that 'which' is the one to use after a parenthetical mark, otherwise 'that', but I'm
sure that isn't foolproof…)
