Agreed - that article was complete and utter sensationalistic garbage.
GNOME 3 doesn't seem to be "failing" on my desktop.

seriously. What the hell.
Obviously, we must work harder in order to get people more
informed when they do their criticism. He extrapolates
wrong conclusions, or at least not very accurate, from the
info he finds in the net.
One of our weakness is that we work in the open, so any
opinion or discussion will reach the press and they take their
own interpretation.
It is difficult for the marketing team to lead the message, because
the criticism is sometimes made when the debate for the real plans
or decisions is taking place.
But, yes. The only thing we can do is better communicating what
we are doing, because I think is good :-)
