Re: GNOME US Event Box

Hey Larry.

I'm glad I found this thread!
We are going to need the event box at CSUN (http://csunconference.org)
from March 23rd through the 27th.

Cheers,
  Eitan.

That's great, Rosanna -- and a good call to do it after the holidays, as not
to get mixed up with the holiday rush. I have no preference actually when to
get it, just as long as I know when it's coming.

Thanks, all, and hope you all are having a great holiday season.

Hi Larry,

I was planning on waiting until after the Christmas rush to send it off.
If you have a preference for when you want it to arrive, let me know and
I will see what I can do.  I believe UPS ground will take five to seven
days.

Thanks,
Rosanna

Hi, all --

Sorry for getting back so late in response, but thank you for that
welcome, Stormy.

Could someone let me know when the box is being sent to me so I know
when to expect it? It's being shipped to my computer shop and I'd like
someone to be there when it arrives (as not to impose on my commercial
neighbors).

Thanks in advance.

        Hi GNOME Marketing folks,

Larry Cafiero[1] is going to be taking over the GNOME US Event
Box. Please welcome Larry to the GNOME Marketing team.

Thanks to Rosanna for maintaining the GNOME Event Box for all
        these years!

Larry's first trip with the box will be to SCALE. If you need
the box any where in the US, please let Larry know.

We're still working on a few things to add to the box:
        * putting stickers in the box (Rosanna)
        * working on a banner (Vinicius)
        * tshirts for the volunteers (Rosanna)
        * working on handouts (Paul Cutler, Denise)

We're also working on an FAQ, talking points and other info
for the people that man the booth - this info will be on the
        wiki.

For those interested in helping out, we are also looking for
someone to send out Friends of GNOME gifts. I'm hoping this
can mostly be done through our Zazzle store once it's up and
running but right now it means maintaining our stash of
goodies (stickers, tshirts, mugs, etc) and mailing them out
every couple of weeks to people that have donated to Friends
of GNOME. If you are interested, let me know.

        Best,

        Stormy
