+1 from me as well.

I've setup an adwords campaigns for my company a couple a years a ago.
It's really easy to start a campaign. The trick is getting the right
keywords. GNOME would be a bad keyword because you already get at the
top of the search list. However on "free desktop" GNOME is not on the
first page. The best thing I think is to start setting it up and
analyze the results we get

Some ideas for more keywords:
free antivirus
free windows
