In a nutshell, looking from long time GNOME user POV, marketing team
for GNOME project is essential, but real results are needed to gain

notes. Previously It was done better, I think we must get back on
track with this;

Yeah, it's obvious, a lot of people are complaining. However, it appears
to me that there was not much done regarding development. I just
installed Ubuntu 7.04 and honestly I can't see one thing that's
different or better in gnome (except disk usage analyzer, but I don't
know whether ubuntu team deserves credit here or who).

* Developer resources - aka library.gnome.org - again, it is already
in various people todo lists and job for marketing team here would be
keep everyone in touch and if there is need for resources, then trying
to organize them;

This is absolutely critical, in my opinion. The developers.gnome.org is
a joke (as someone mentioned). How do we expect developers to start
developing for gnome when we are not helping them?

* About mobile initiative - I don't get harsh words flying around
about this, because it is so exciting thing, on which marketing team
should jump on ASAP; I understand disappointment about lack of
communication, but I guess we must get over it this time and see how
we can coordinate such scenarios without public exposure (due of legal
entities; we won't change corporation's way of thinking that
everything must be kept secret) in the future;

I completely agree. This is really exciting and this just adds to the
need for a developers help page.

BTW, nice job on the http://www.gnome.org/mobile/ page. I love the
diagram :D
