Do you mean a style guide such as this one:

In Google, "Corporate Style Guide" delivers a few more hits, and
potential examples.

I just finished a simple style guide for the Mozilla Foundation, Firefox
and Thunderbird. They can be found here:

http://www.mozilla.org/press/images.html#guidelines

We could probably get them into a Creative Commons license so we could
use them as a starting point.

I like that a lot. It strengthens the brand.

Apparently you are also working on a GNOME web redesign? How far along
is that? Can we start with some colors and fonts guidelines for our
visual identity?

That said, I'm not sure we need a whole lot more than we already have
on the wiki.

Most people won't need it, but some will want answers to these
questions, and some will do things we don't like if we don't ask them
not to.
