Re: GNOME deployments

Do you want to include 1.4 implementations? Clockwork in the UK have
rolled out a Debian (stable, hence 1.4), Gnome, LTSP system for Speedie
Van hire, in 250 depots across the UK (with plans to have 400 by summer
next year). Linux Format UK did a case study a couple of months ago, and
we're working on one now (just waiting for signoff by them - we'll be
releasing under CC).

Hi Tim,

The marketing team are working on making a centralised list of large
GNOME deployments in the wiki.

Could you add a few that you know of, please? Also, do you have a list
of PRO contacts who would be good for providing this kind of info in
Sun, RedHat and Novell?

We currently lack some centralisation of this kind of information (and
as you said, the counting techniques for GNU/Linux desktops don't
usually include installations like these).

Thanks a lot,
Dave.
